The Oakland University Wrestling Team competes in the North Central Conference of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association. The biggest advantage that the National Collegiate Wrestling Association offers over other associations is that the NCWA allows all teams to enter multiple wrestlers at each weight class at both the Regional and National tournaments. This rule provides an opportunity for every Oakland University wrestler to see time in the lineup as well as get an equal chance amongst teammates to compete to be an individual All-American.
